All About Online Health and Social Care Courses

Not only does the Comprehensive Counselling Skills programme allow you to be flexible when studying online, you’ll have the option study one additional certificate from the following options:

 

  • Drug, Solvent, Alcohol Abuse Counselling Level 3
  • Grief Counselling Level 3
  • Stress Counselling Level 3
  • Counselling Children and Adolescents Level 4
  • Advanced Counsellor and Psychotherapist Level 4

This means you’ll be able to specialise in an area that you’re interested in and really enhance your skillset in various topics.

Social Care – E-Learning

Studying Health and Social Care with The Training Room couldn’t be easier. If you choose to enrol with us you’ll achieve the NCFE Health and Social Care Diploma (QCF) Level 3. This qualification meets the Health and Social Care National Occupation Standards approved by Skills for Care & Development, the skills council for those working in the care industry.

In total there are 16 modules to complete which include:

  • Principles for implementing duty of care in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
  • Promote person centred approaches in health and social care
  • Support individuals to access and use services and facilities

As well as this, you’ll have to complete a placement within the Health and Social Care sector in order to pass the course. This is a great way to gain hands-on experience in your chosen industry and make your CV stand out from the crowd!
