Favourites For The Premier League Title

The 2020/21 season in the Premier League just about halfway through the season, we are starting to get a feel for how the table is going to finish come May. This season has been one of the open seasons in recent times with a couple of the main teams still in contention for the title this year due to the openness of the league and below we look at the main competitors for the league below.

Heavy favourites for the league are Manchester City after their win last night 4-0 against Crystal Palace and now have a game in hand against Manchester United and will be top if they win it. Although they didn’t start the season as free scoring as they usually have been under Pep Guardiola, they have started to click as a team now and are looking like a title winning side again. Although we are used to seeing City being a free scoring side, they have now become a defensive powerhouse with the centre back partnership of Ruben Dias and John Stones who have kept 9 clean sheets out of 10 games they have started together. City are odds on favourites to win the league at 4/7.

Whilst we wait for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League, many football punters have been migrating to this list of live online casinos. These particular casinos are offering some of the best live casino games including roulette and blackjack for football punters to play on and due to them being new to the market, they are offering promotional deals for all new customers signing up now.

Next up in terms of favourites for the league are current champions Liverpool who are priced at 7/2 for the title. Liverpool again haven’t been the team of the last two season and definitely haven’t had the consistency. Another worrying point about Liverpool at the moment is that they have only scored 1 goal in their past 4 Premier League games which is very worrying. Although Liverpool is still in contention for the title, they are certainly missing some of their main players due to injury, especially at centre back as they haven’t got one fit first team centre back in their squad at the moment.

And finally, the current league leaders Manchester united are priced at 7/1 to win the league which would be their first league title since 2013. United have been a different side since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes last January and have picked up more points than any other side since his arrival in Manchester. United might be outside favourites for the Premier League title, but with them being current leaders, might be worth an outside bet.
