It has been a very memorable season with the incredible duel between defending champions Manchester City and Liverpool. Punters have been busy backing both sides using the Michigan Lottery promo code for much of the season, but it appears that City are going to pick up the title. They are now as short as 1/10 as we move into the final game of the season, with Liverpool available at 6/1.
It is a very unique season in the fact Liverpool have picked up 94 points from 37 games played, yet are likely going to come up short. This has also seen them win 29 of them and lose just once (to Manchester City) this Premier league season. This is just another indication of how well Manchester City have performed. In the final game of the season they head to Brighton and are as short as 1/7 to pick up the three points. It would be a huge shock were they to fail to do so, following the incredible mid-week victory over Leicester. Liverpool on the other hand welcome Wolves to Anfield, but will need Manchester City to slip up if they are to pick up the trophy.
Manchester City have finished the season in incredible form that has seen them win 13 Premier league games in succession, since the January defeat by Newcastle. This includes key victories such as the 3-1 success over Arsenal, the 6-0 victory over Chelsea and other important victories against Tottenham, Manchester United and most recently Leicester City. This incredible winning run has been the sign of champions, as they look to land the Premier league for the fourth time since 2012.
From 37 games played, Manchester City have picked up 95 points, which puts them just a little shy of the incredible record breaking title victory last season. This has seen them win 31 games, and having lost just four all season. These defeats coming against Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Chelsea. The two mid-season defeats coming in a stuttering blip for City, in the space of four days.
The healthy rivalry between Manchester City and Liverpool is setting up for an incredible battle moving forward. They are both producing record breaking performances and are at present head and shoulders above the other teams in the league. It appears Liverpool are going to again come up short, but have qualified for another Champions league final, which is a major positive for the club. The dominating period continues for Manchester City and they are already odds on favourites to again follow up in 2020.
