Liam Payne Visits the Queen

On the 29th of June, a rocking Liam Payne with glasses was in London for the 2017 Young Leader Awards. This is where the musician met Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Harry. However, all his fans were more obsessed about how much this new style with glasses made Payne look like the kid wizard, Harry Potter!

Looking incredibly smart, the talented musician completed his chic suit and boot attire with a pair of glasses. And it didn’t take much time before his fans started comparing him to the main protagonist of J.K Rolling’s book series of Harry Potter. During the reception for the 2017 Young Leader Awards at Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry along with Queen Elizabeth II greeted Liam Payne, and other fellow invitees, such as Casper Lee, Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Anita Rani, and Mo Farah.

The new geek chic style of Liam was quick to grab attention on Twitter. The Strip it Down musician later shared his joy on his Instagram account by revealing how it was a great honour for him to meet the Queen on such a major event. He even posted a picture where he can be seen chatting with the Majesty while in the company of the Olympic gold medallist, Mo Farah. Together with entrepreneurs such as Casper Lee and Anita Rani, the singer and musician was there to share his story of leadership at the Young Leaders Award. This award ceremony celebrates and recognises exceptional young people between the age of 18 to 29 from across the UK.

The ex-band member of One Direction created a buzz on Twitter where everyone was saying he is the new Harry Potter. Cheryl, the girlfriend of Liam and mother to this baby son did not publish anything on her Instagram or Twitter page to talk about that special day for Liam. Cheryl and Payne, welcomed their first baby in March this year. Meanwhile, the singer shared an adorable picture of him and his son wearing matching Yeezy grey shoes. Very little has been seen of baby Bear, the son of Payne and Cheryl since he was born. They have only shared a unique picture of Bear so far, on the same day when they announced that he was born. On that picture, Liam can be seen lovingly cradling the tiny and adorable baby.
